Thank you to everyone who visited this year’s Quaker Meeting House Tour! Your enthusiasm and curiosity helped make the season a huge success, with nearly one thousand guests exploring the rich Quaker heritage of our region. We are deeply grateful for the community support, the conversations, and the shared appreciation for the history preserved at these remarkable sites. We’re already looking ahead to next year and are excited to expand the program with new stories, enhanced exhibits, and even more opportunities to experience the legacy of our local Meeting Houses. Tell us about your organization and what makes it unique.• Craig Marshall, Quaker Meeting House Tour: We are a collaborative of seven Dutchess County historical organizations who have come together for a truly unique project. . What makes our effort special is both its scale and its spirit. This is the first time so many local historical societies have partnered on a single initiative, pooling our resources and expertise to bring history to life for the public. Together we’re creating engaging programs that highlight our area’s stories and their lasting impact on the founding of our country. By working as one, we’re able to share a richer, more connected history of Dutchess County — and invite the community to explore it with us in fresh, meaningful ways.
