Starting Sunday, June 1, the Pawling Historical Society, in partnership with Clinton Corners, Millbrook, and Hyde Park historical societies, will offer free tours of historic Quaker meeting houses. Funded by the Dutchess County Legislature, the tours explore the Society of Friends (Quakers), meeting house architecture, and themes related to REV250, the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Trained docents and exhibits will highlight each site’s unique history, with original 1700s interiors featured at Pawling (Oblong), Millbrook (Nine Partners), and Hyde Park (Crum Elbow). A grand opening celebration launches the series on June 1. Tours run from 12–4 PM on the first Sunday of each month, June through November 2025. Visitors drive between sites using a brochure or QR code for directions and details. QR codes on site signs provide info when buildings are closed. For more information, contact Craig Marshall at (845) 242-5879
