Antiques Appraisal Day

6/21/2017

It’s time to see if that treasure you’ve been holding on to is as special as you think! The Historical Society of Quaker Hill and Pawling will host its Third Biennial “Pawling’s Antiques Appraisal Event” on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the John Kane House, 126 East Main Street, Pawling, NY, from 12–4 p.m. Proceeds from this event will go toward revamping the John Kane House’s permanent exhibits on local history.

Ready to evaluate attendees’ treasures will be five experienced appraisers:
  • Ken Kolski (American Art & pottery, glassware, Mid Century Collectibles)
  • Jane Lynn (porcelain, silver, decorative furnishings)
  • Stephen Hughes (Estate jewelry, diamonds, pocket watches, paintings, bronzes)
  • Linda Kelly Fauci (porcelain, silver, decorative furnishings)
  • Fitch Lockwood (clocks and clock repair)
For large items, we encourage you to bring photographs taken from different views/angles.

Tickets are $10 per item or 3 item appraisals for $25. Up to 5 items can be appraised per time reservation, with repeat sessions allowed. Please note: The event is for verbal appraisals only.
